New Releases: August 2025

Unlike previous years, it seems like composers are hard at work this summer! There is typically a sharp drop in the number of new trailer music releases I find in the summer months, but not this year. After the 61 albums in the July post, I'm bringing you another 59 new releases in this one! Honestly, even I didn't have time to take vacation this summer, but that won't necessarily be the case for the rest of the year. Anyway, vacations are all well and good, but let's talk music! So, what's the August news, you ask? Well, J.T. Peterson is back after two years with his fourth solo album. It's a beautiful one-hour cinematic journey that you definitely don't want to miss! And, in case you were wondering what's been up with Liquid Cinema lately, well, it seems like they switched focus to their Trailer Toolkit series and other sound design albums over the past couple of years, and they now only release more easy-listening trailer albums here and there.
