New Releases: September 2025

The summer is over, kids are back in school, and composers are back at work – or wait, maybe they never took a vacation? Each of the summer months, I have been able to find around 60 new trailer music releases, which is really no less than the September's 61. Speaking of vacations, I spent a week and a half in Alaska and had a spectacular time, about as far away from civilization as it gets, but with plenty of epic trailer music playing as the soundtrack to the road trip through the epic landscapes. Definitely recommend visiting this wild state! Now, let's talk about music news though.

Playground Hollywood, a boutique trailer music label founded by the Grammy-winning duo of Starr Parodi and Jeff Fair, released two new cinematic albums at once in September! These come three years after their previous cinematic album, not counting the solo piano release from the beginning of the year. What else? Oh, Giant Apes Music switched teams – after 11 years under Really Slow Motion's roof, the apes migrated over to Eternal Music Group and released two debut albums under their new parent label. At the same time, the creators of Giant Apes introduced a brand new ape-themed trailer music catalog, Silverback, whose debut album you will also find in this post.
