New Releases: February 2024

Are you ready for a trailer music galore? February brought us an exceptional bounty of 60 new releases, especially considering it's the shortest month of the year (although, admittedly, it was one day longer than usual this year). The vast majority of these new albums is available on streaming platforms, and I expect at least a few of the remaining ones to become publicly available too in the near future. It's a lot of music to explore, so I'll keep the intro short. Let me just quickly introduce 3 new names to Trailer Music Hub, and you can then dive into the sea of trailer music below.

GrooveWorx has been around since 2013, and actually much longer before that under the name Groove Addicts. GrooveWorx specializes in horror music and sound design, and even their newest album mentioned in this post is a collection of horror remixes of well-known songs, along with original vocal horror tracks. Pedigree Cuts is a production music company established back in 2007 and distributed by Universal Production Music. Among their 5 catalogs, it is mainly the Broadcast (PEDB), the Documentary (PEDD) and the Exact (PEDE) catalogs that tend to present more cinematic releases. Finally, WuKong entered the scene only in 2020, filling the niche of epic trailer music rooted in the traditional music of the Far East. They have released a dozen albums since then, distributed by APM Music, but by now also available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, so check them out!
